finished this latest chapter - lmao i hesitate to call it a chapter because it's more like just a brief little interlude type thing introducing a narrative mechanic - and mighty fucking christ
writing is a lot like throwing myself down the stairs (yes i picked that up from an online article written by someone more clever than me, hush) where i can get momentum but it's just a matter of sucking in my gut and flinging myself down that first step.
i mean i'm actually really satisfied with how the scene turned out but holy fucking shit it took forever.
god.
really hope i can get more done tomorrow.
